WEB SITE The project, co-financed by the Interreg ADRION Program, aims to create a platform (geoportal) that will provide information, data and useful tools for the management of the marine and coastal areas of the Adriatic-Ionian Region. The platform will integrate existing databases, portals and tools developed in the context of previous European projects (eg SHAPE, ADRIPLAN) by local and national administrations and other initiatives. PORTODIMARE geoportal will be a common platform useful as a management support for the implementation: – of the Protocol for the Integrated Management of Coastal Zones in the Mediterranean (entered into force in March 2013) – of the Maritime Spatial Planning Directive (Directive 2014/89 / EU – of the Action Plan of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR). The project is coordinated by the Emilia Romagna Region.
